Founder of Angelis Mortis Coaching, Toby Bennett, breaks down the journey he went on to establish the business, what influences have impacted his journey and what you can expect from your coaching experience.

We’re proud to announce the start of Angelis Mortis Coaching! Warhammer 40000 competitive coaching aimed at helping you elevate your skillset. Angelis Mortis was born from Black Crow Gaming as the team became one of the largest teams in the UK, we looked to professionalise our play and support the growth of the community. 

With top ranked players coming in the top 5 of their faction both in the UK and the World, Black Crow Gaming began an internal coaching scheme. Alongside the growth of the social media presence, I decided to open up coaching to the wider community, especially the BCG USA following.

With my background in business consultancy and early stage business development, it felt a natural progression to combine the professional and the hobby as supporting people’s development has always been a passion for me. I love seeing people meet their full potential especially in something that they care about. 

So, the aim of Angelis Mortis is to bring together everything that I have learnt from my time playing competitive Warhammer, alongside the skills I’ve learnt from start-up business support and working with founders. 

This is where you can enter the strategium, level up your play and become the player you’ve always wanted to be. Gain confidence to play in the right way, understand the game from a next level strategic mind-set while micro-managing resources in the most efficient way. 

Another key focus we’ll have is all around sportsmanship, playing in the right way and ensuring both players walk away from the table having had a spectacular game. The most important part of this great hobby is the community surrounding it, being a positive influence on the community is key to your development and taking the next steps.
